Easter course at The Guildhall School of Music where I spent four glorious years studying the piano, was a joy. Teaching 80 young people of wonder to sing and come together as one unit of delight and sit and behave, sing and realise how blessed they all are, and thanks to @spencerdown_conductor for inviting me once again. What a team you have created, @flissgorstband @harding.emma @libbycroadviolin @eleanorpercy @rachelgabrysia Jonathon Harris, Alison Walker, Liz Hosforth, Adam Morris, well done to an incredible set of teachers and giving guidance in their individual sections, brilliant. Also the folk behind the scenes as well, Rachel Cooper, Eliza Robey, Onwards to next year. It’s an amazing four days, 8-14 year olds, playing in an orchestra and singing, get ‘em down to the Guildhall in 2025.

Well, 2 tremendous sold out gigs giving World Prem

Well, 2 tremendous sold out gigs giving World Premieres to a handful of joyous new material that I co-wrote with @geoffgascoyne. A joy to work alongside. We gathered our material that we wrote in lockdown, and to get to perform them with a stellar line-up, @jezzastace @carlhudson83 @tommyemmerton @horn.house with @mikedavistrumpet on the Wednesday night and then Danny Marsden on Sunday night. Thankyou to @_chalkwellparkrooms_ in Southend with Michael Crook and fabulous sound guys creating jazz nights once a month on a Wednesday and @606club looking after me and the band, making the evening go so smoothly. Big shout out to James, Steve and Tristan and all the wonderful staff. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets and supporting me to make two memorable sold out gigs. Rejoicing to have old and new friends and @melanie.marshall.1000 and @al1cia.x especially @billbaileyofficial and @rogertaylorofficial having a night off from their busy touring worlds, an honour. A glimpse of my very busy February. Firstly my gig at @crazycoqs with @will.inscoe_music @murraydare3 @marcus_praestgaard @jack._.thomas and @mattparismusic Wonderful delights dresses and boots from @bashparis onwards to a wonderful workshop of @lesmizofficial @jguildhall and thank you to Spencer Down for getting me to conduct such young fabulous choirs/singers. Alicia and her amazing dance show where I got to sing “Afraid to Feel” live in the show to the disco section, well done to @llds_dance and all her amazing teachers. Onwards to seeing @kttunstall and her hearing her wondrous music in the musical @clueless_musical fingers crossed that it goes to the West End.
An honour to sing BV’s on @paulwellerhq new single, Soul Wandering, with @sumudusinger and amongst doing many sessions here and there, creating new gems with @geoffgascoyne and @robdavissongwriter live performance at @thelondonpalladium with @theleogreen and his orchestra of delightful folk, and the whole evening hosted by @cerys6music songs sung by @jillmariecooper @vanessahaynes and @h_sandersing @caineandy @sumudusinger also big shout out to @saraheydencreative who’s organising my life behind the scenes of technical brilliance, it’s all go. Onwards to March.
